Last updated: October 5, 2026

Royal Toilettage inc. (NEQ 1180684103) runs a dog and cat grooming salon at 103-2505 Rue des Nations, Montreal, Quebec H4R 3C8. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect, why, who we share it with, and how you can access it, correct it or have it deleted.

We follow the Quebec Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25.

1. Information we collect

We only collect what you give us when you fill in the appointment form, write to us or call us.

  • Your contact details: first name, last name, email and phone number.
  • Information about your dog: name, breed, size, coat type and temperament.
  • Your notes, for example a behavior we should know about or an allergy.
  • Your chosen language (French or English) and the type of visit (new visit or returning client).

The form asks for no payment information. We never collect credit card numbers on this site.

2. Why we use it

  • To handle your appointment request and reply to you.
  • To prepare your dog's visit based on size, coat and temperament.
  • To send you the confirmation and messages about your appointment, by email or phone.
  • To keep your client file up to date.

We do not use your information for other purposes without asking you first. We do not sell it.

3. Who we share it with

Your information is entrusted to providers who help us run the salon. They may only use it to provide their service to us.

  • GoHighLevel (LeadConnector): our client and appointment management system. The form information is kept there and confirmation messages are sent from it.
  • Vercel: the website host. It processes the technical data needed to display the site and send the form.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

4. Where your information is kept

Our providers may store and process data outside Quebec, including in the United States. In that case, your information is protected by our agreements with them and by the laws of the country where it is held.

5. Cookies and tracking

This site contains no visit analytics tool. It saves your language choice in your browser, so the site shows in the language you picked. This stays on your device.

The site uses the Google Ads tag to measure whether our ads lead to appointment requests. The tag sets cookies and receives the "appointment request" event. When you request an appointment, it also receives your email and phone number. They are scrambled by a one-way code (a hash) before they are sent. Google uses them to match your request to an ad you saw. It does not receive your name or address.

Google and other third parties that show ads across the internet may use these cookies and device identifiers to measure results, and to target and deliver ads. You can opt out in Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com), in your browser cookie settings, or at youradchoices.ca.

The site also uses the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and the Meta Conversions API to measure the results of our ads. Meta and other third parties may use this data to target and deliver ads. When you submit the form, Meta receives the "appointment request" event along with your email and phone number, encrypted by hashing. Our client management system also sends Meta, the same way, an "appointment confirmed" event when your appointment is confirmed, and a "paying client" event after your visit. You can opt out in the ad preferences of Facebook and Instagram, in your browser cookie settings, or at youradchoices.ca.

When you arrive from an ad, the site keeps the ad click identifier in a cookie for 90 days. If you request an appointment, we add it to your file to know which ad led to your request.

The site contains links to Google Maps, Instagram and Facebook. If you click them, those services apply their own privacy rules.

If we ever add another measurement or advertising tool, we will update this policy before turning it on.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your information as long as needed to provide our services and keep your client file. When it is no longer needed, we destroy it or make it anonymous. You can also ask us to delete it sooner.

7. How we protect it

The site uses a secure connection (HTTPS). Only team members who need it can open your file, through protected access. No system is perfectly safe, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information. If an incident poses a serious risk to you, we will notify you, as the law requires.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • know what information we hold about you and get a copy;
  • have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected;
  • ask us to delete your information or withdraw your consent;
  • stop receiving messages from us.

To use these rights, write to us at royaltoilettage@gmail.com or call us at 514-244-8155. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We reply within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
