Does your dog need a groom? 5 signs to watch for

Your dog's smell, coat and paws tell you when it's time for a groom. Here are five signs that are easy to spot at home.
They smell like a dog two days after a bath. A smell that comes back fast often comes from the undercoat and the skin, which a bath at home doesn't always reach. A full bath and dry at the salon keeps them clean longer.
Their nails click on the floor. When you hear them with every step, they're too long. Overgrown nails change the way your dog walks and quickly become uncomfortable. Nail trimming is part of every groom.
Hair is falling in their eyes. Long bangs block their view and pick up dirt. A trim around the eyes clears their face, and you get to see their eyes again.
They scoot their bottom on the rug. This often comes from full anal glands. Anal gland expression is one of our services. If it keeps happening, check with your vet as well.
Their coat has lost its shine. A dull, rough coat full of dead hair calls for a bath, a brush-out and a trim. They get back a soft, shiny coat, and you get a dog you can't stop petting.
Recognize one of these signs? Book their groom online or give us a call. They leave the salon clean, fresh, tail wagging. Our clients rate us 4.9/5 on Google.
